Overview

We are seeking an experienced Motorcycle Data Engineer to join a test programme at Daytona in October 2026.

This is a paid position working with a professional race team, supporting rider performance and machine development during a dedicated test session.

Dates

13 October 2026 – 18 October 2026

Applicants must be available for the full duration of the test.

The Role

• Download, analyse and interpret motorcycle data throughout the test
• Support setup direction and performance development
• Work closely with riders, engineers and crew members
• Assist with chassis setup decisions and data-driven performance improvements
• Develop and refine engine braking strategies
• Provide clear technical feedback and post-session reports

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer within motorcycle racing
• Previous experience in Supersport and/or Superbike categories
• Strong understanding of chassis setup and vehicle dynamics
• Experience developing and analysing engine braking strategies
• Confident using professional motorsport data acquisition and analysis software
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
