🏁 Race Mechanic Wanted – Whitney Motorsport Racing (BSB Paddock Role) 🏁

Whitney Motorsport Racing is looking for a competent and confident Race Mechanic to join our team for the upcoming season.

This is a hands-on paddock role responsible for the preparation and running of two race bikes throughout the weekend:

One Sportsbike class machine
One Superstock machine

🔧 Role Responsibilities:
You will be fully responsible for keeping both bikes race-ready at all times, including:
Tyres: selection, condition, pressures, and changes

Brakes: inspection, maintenance, and performance

Fuel management

Suspension setup based on rider feedback

Ensuring both bikes are safe, compliant, and ready for every session

Working closely with the riders and data technician to achieve optimal setup and performance

Fast turnarounds between sessions when needed

Maintaining a professional, calm approach under race weekend pressure

👨‍🔧 What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience working on race or track bikes

Confident working independently on two machines

Strong mechanical knowledge

Able to take responsibility for bike condition and safety

Good communication with riders and engineers

Organised, reliable, and able to work long paddock days

BSB / race paddock experience is a big bonus (but not essential if you’re capable)

💷 Pay & Package:
Pay rate dependent on experience

Minimum: expenses covered
