Full time Workshop Mechanic Full-Season Role

MLav Racing are looking for a dedicated full time Moto3 workshop mechanic to join their Barcelona based technical team. This role is central to the preparation, maintenance, and performance of the team’s Moto3 machinery throughout the season.

• Key Responsibilities
• Build, maintain, and prepare Moto3 race bikes to the highest professional standards
• Complete full strip-downs, rebuilds, and system checks between events
• Work closely with the crew chief and data engineer to ensure bike setup aligns with rider feedback and performance targets
• Maintain workshop organisation, cleanliness, parts storage, and inventory control
• Assist with engine changes, chassis setup, suspension fitting, and race critical components
• Follow all team procedures relating to safety, quality control, and documentation
• Support the race team during selected tests or events when required
• Manage pre event preparation and post event servicing to ensure reliability and performance

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience working as a mechanic in Moto3, Moto2, MotoGP, FIM JuniorGP, CIV, CEV, BSB, or similar high level road racing paddocks
• Strong mechanical knowledge of small displacement race engines and lightweight chassis systems
• Ability to work with precision, consistency, and attention to detail
• Comfortable working both independently in the workshop and collaboratively with a wider technical team
• Organised, proactive, and able to work to tight timelines during busy periods
• Willing to travel for occasional tests or events
